Maxi Lopez moves a little closer to Milan as his agent, Andrea D’Amico, is set to meet up with the Rossoneri directors just before Christmas.

“Maxi is ready for a big team and at the end of the week I will meet up with Milan to discuss about it,” D’Amico told Radio Manà Manà.

“The Rossoner are after Carlos Tevez but if they were to fail on that deal, they have already found an agreement with Catania.

“The transfer window ends on January 31, but both Maxi and Catania want to decide in advance in order to consider other options,” added D’Amico.

“His time at Catania is over. If he wasn’t to join Milan, which is his dream, there will be other clubs interested. The transfer market is open and Genoa did already show their interest. Maxi is a top striker ready for the biggest stages of football.”
