Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta was interviewed by “Zone 11” on Raisport and he revealed that a long-time bianconeri target may now be resigned to history. When asked about Domenico Berardi he explained that; “I won’t hide the fact that we have been evaluating the player, he’s an important part of the future of Italian football but if he doesn’t have the desire to wear the Juventus shirt then we cannot force the situation.”
 

ON MATUIDI & WITSEL: “On the former there is the veto from Paris Saint-Germain who do not want to sell him. Witsel is a player who is available on a free-transfer in the summer but if Zenit are prepared to negotiate in January then who knows”.  

ON THE SUGGESTION OF THIAGO SILVA: “He’s an exceptional player. I don’t know the plans of PSG but he reminds me of the sort of business e have done in the past, with Pirlo for example; a great player who cost us nothing”.
 

ON LICHTSTEINER: “He’s a mature player who deserves respect and he’s a great professional. Football however, is an 11- a- side game and Juve must accept that players have choices and we hope that he understands this too”.
