Marotta: Juventus want more from Pjanic

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta released an interview with Premium Sport on Sunday afternoon, minutes before the kick off of Serie A clash Chievo-Juventus.

The Old Lady’s executive was asked his thoughts on the season of the bianconeri and on the performances of Miralem Pjanic.

“Of course we expect to see something more from him. He’s struggling to settle in well, but he’s a good guy and an excellent footballer. Juventus should be patient and wait for him to improve. He has all the qualities to do more.”

Pjanic switched Roma with Juventus last summer in a € 30 million move and has three goals and four assists in all competitions so far this season. The impact of the Bosnian midfielder, however, has been not been sufficient as the Old Lady is still struggling to produce some attracting football.

“The history of Juventus is plenty of wins and criticisms too. We want to improve and we know we can because we have a great team.”
