Rakitic, 28, has been a fixture at the Nou Camp since joining from Sevilla more than two seasons ago.
Having scored 14 La Liga goals since moving from the Sanchez Pizjuan, the Croatian international has established himself as one of the world’s most respected midfielders, and has done well enough to attract Manchester United, among other clubs.
Rakitic has also been linked to the Serie A, namely Juventus, but it doesn’t look like he’s that interested in a move to Turin.
