Man Utd and Chelsea swoop to steal Juve and Roma target
Pellegrini is among the most talented Italian U-19 prospects as he will turn 16 on March 2017. During the last Italy’s U-16 game, Pellegrini has partnered up front with Juventus’ Moise Bioty Kean and his performance has stunned the club’s Sporting Director Fabio Paratici.
The Grifoni’s President Enrico Preziosi has gone too far labeling Pellegrini as the Genoa’s Messi, even if his physical and technical skills are way different than the Argentinean’s super star.
Pellegrini can’t still sign any professional contract until he turns 16. For this reason both Roma and Juventus are currently prevented from making a bid for the Genoa’s youngster.
Trouble is, the two Serie A giants are not the only sides to have set their target on him. Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG are all reported to be interested in Pellegrini’s services and according to the current transfer regulations, any foreign club can buy a player before he signs his first professional contract paying a preparation premium fee worth around € 250.000.
