Juve vs Roma for Arsenal right back Mathieu Debuchy

Both AS Roma and Juventus are seeking a new right back: the giallorossi head coach Rudi Garcia is unhappy with 34-year-old Maicon, and is using his midifielder Alessandro Florenzi, while the Serie A defending champions’ boss Massimiliano Allegri has to deal with the cardiac problems of 31-year-old Stephan Lichtsteiner. As reported by France Football, Garcia himself has asked his club’s Sporting Director Walter Sabatini to make an attempt for Arsenal 30-year-old Mathieu Debuchy, whom he has already trained when he was at Lille, and who in Rome would meet his former team mate Lucas Digne. The Frenchman is not getting many chances to play in Arsene Wenger’s squad, and is looking for more minutes. Debuchy is also a target for the bianconeri themselves, who have already started to talk with his agents.
