Lemina emerging as Juventus’ replacement for injured Marchisio
The former Marseille youngster struggled with injuries last season, and has looked decent, if sometimes unconvincing, deputizing for the injured Claudio Marchision in the middle of the park.
That said, Turinese paper Tuttosport write today that the young Gabonese star is slowly becoming one of Coach Max Allegri’s untouchables, as he seems to be growing into the Marchisio role in midfield.
Though it’s early days yet, Lemina will have until the Autumn at the very least to strut his stuff. It could well be that Allegri sees something in training that we have yet to notice in gametime.
Either way, the starting spot looks to be his for the time being. Could it be that the 23-year-old is the midfield signing Juventus didn’t make at the end of the window?
