    Cagliari DS does not confirm that Cosentino brought Mati Fernandez to AC Milan

    ‘Only a deduction’, Cagliari DS Stefano Capozucca has not confirmed that banned players’ agent Pablo Cosentino helped AC Milan to sign ex Fiorentina midfielder Mati Fernandez in the summer transfer window’s deadline day, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

    Capozucca had a two-hour and a half hearing with the federal prosecutor yesterday, but said not to be 100% sure about Cosentino’s involvement in the deal.

    ​Capozucca said that he ‘deducted’ that Cosentino had called the player’s agent Battistini who was talking to a certain ‘Pablo’, but can’t prove that Cosentino was actually the person talking to the player’s agent adding that, however, Mati Fernandez took a final decision only after talking with Vincenzo Montella.
