Juve: eyes on Douglas Costa. Inter: Jovetic farther?

One of Juventus’ priorities for the current transfer window is the signing of a new center back: as well known, the bianconeri are thinking about a swap with Fiorentina involving their right back Mauricio Isla and the viola 21-year-old Stefan Savic, but, as reported by Tuttosport, there is still an important difference between the Serie A defending champions’ offer and the Tuscan club’s request, and the Chile international is perhaps also tracked by Atletico Madrid and Southampton. Another target for the Piedmont’s club remains Cagliari 27-year-old Davide Astori, and, interviewed by Lalaziosiamonoi.it, the Sardinian club’s Sports Director Francesco Marroccu has declared that both Juve and Lazio have the same chances to obtain the Italy international. The bianconeri are also seeking an attacking midfielder, and could have a chance for 24-year-old Douglas Costa, who has not yet rejoined his current club Shakhtar Donetsk because of the difficult situation in Ukraine. Finally, regarding the possible departure, 28-year-old right back Marco Motta –as reported by Tuttosport- could move to Queens Park Rangers. The Serie A defending champions, as well as Inter Milan, are keen on Manchester City 24-year-old attacking midfielder Stefan Jovetic, but the future of the Montenegro international remains uncertain because of the injury suffered by The Citizens’ 29-year-old Alvaro Negredo.
