Lapadula, here is the offer from Napoli
According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli is challenging Juventus for the signature of Gianluca Lapadula.
This morning’s edition of sports daily reports that the vesuviani has made an offer of €6 million to Pescara for the highly-rated striker. Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani has stated that; “He’s wanted by Juventus, Genoa, Napoli and two clubs from England”, thought to be Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur. He added, “But let’s be clear, for now nothing has happened”.
Pescara is believed to want €7-8 million for their star player and Napoli’s offer is below the asking price. In their last meeting in March, the Serie B side have also asked for Roberto Insigne as part of any deal involving Lapadula. The brother of Lorenzo is on-loan at Avellino at present and should he go to the club on the Adriatic coast, he would follow in the footsteps of his brother who burst onto the scene at Pescara under Zdenek Zeman.
