Juve: Lichtsteiner to renew. Inter: keen on Kranevitter
Tracked by many European top clubs but still a key-player for Massimiliano Allegri’s team, 30-year-old right back Stephan Lichsteiner has just a few months left on his contract with Juventus: after a meeting between the bianconeri’s executives, his brother and manager Marco and FIFA agent Federico Pastorello, the Switzerland international –according to gianlucadimarzio.com- is about to extend his deal with the Serie A defending champions at least until June 2017; there actually no news regarding the financial terms, but in any case the two parties will meet again at the end of the month. Different situation, as reported by the same media, regarding 27-year-old attacking midfielder Sebastian Giovinco, who is also about to become a free agent: there have been no recent meetings between Juve –who would like the player to reduce his salary- and the agents of the Italy international, who is tracked by many English clubs; perhaps, as outlined by Tuttosport, the bianconeri could invest the amount required by Giovinco to buy the entire ownership of 20-year-old forward Domenico Berardi, actually at Sassuolo. As reported in the last days, both Inter and AC Milan are keen on River Plate 21-year-old midfielder Matias Kranevitter: interviewed by calciomercato.com, Josè Luis Luraschi, agent of the young Argentine, has confirmed that the nerazzurri are interested in his client, and he has denied any contact with the rossoneri.
