Kjaer; "Ibrahimovic was his usual arrogant self"
During last Thursday’s Europa League clash between Fenerbahce and Manchester United, former Roma and Palermo defender Simon Kjaer had an altercation with Red Devils striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In an interview translated by Corriere dello Sport, the Danish international explained that; “It didn’t surprise me, I didn’t understand all that he said to me but I cannot assure you that they weren’t very pleasant”.
He continued his attack by stating that; “This is the Ibrahimovic that I’ve always known. As a footballer he is arrogant but our job is to kick the ball and he seems to take himself rather too seriously. It’s not the first time that I’ve clashed with him”.
There are reports today that the big Swede is set for a dramatic Old Trafford exit at the end of the current campaign with the Red Devils deciding not to activate a clause that would keep the 35-year-old at Old Trafford for the following season.
