Japan International star Keisuka Honda could only show a little of his talent at San Siro since he joined Milan in January 2014.

The former CSKA Moscow scored nine goals in 56 appearances with the Rossoneri, while in the first part of this campaign supporters hit out at the 29-year-old for his mediocre form. Honda is set to leave the club in January as he was linked with a West Ham move.

On the other hand, Honda still flies the flag for his homeland as he plundered 34 goals in 79 International games with Japan.

Talking with Nikkan Sports, Milan’s n. 10 revealed that he has no intension to give up, wasting his chance with the Serie A giants.

“Let me be quite clear, here and now. I don’t want to leave Milan and unless the club will ask me to go somewhere else, my will is to stay here.”

“When I joined the club I wanted to have an impact and I had great motivations. Of course I am disappointed for my recent poor performances, but I want to improve and make my return to the starting XI.”

“It is harder that what I thought, but I don’t want to give up. Throwing in the towel is not in my style and I won’t do it. I can understand supporters’ criticisms as well as people telling me that I should join a club that believe in me. I just want to do my best and try not to embarrass Milan’s fans.”
