Japan International Keisuke Honda couldn’t hide his disappointment for Milan’s transfer policy during an interview released with the Japanese news agency Kyodo News.

“When I arrived I knew the club was going through a rough time, but Allegri wanted me and I had good intentions. I wanted to help the team,  but things have deteriorated.”

“Lot of managers have been sacked since then and I guess that buying players close to retirement is not the solution.”

“Players like Kaka, Robinho, Fernando Torres, Mikel Essien and Mario Balotelli have all joined the club in the last few years. They are great footballers, but a player at the end of his career can’t solve all the problems.”

“Milan are one of the biggest club in the world, with glorious story and tradition. In theory, they have everything to come back where they used to be, but I seriously doubt that they’ll do it while I am here.”
