Juventus set to sign two midfielders in January, Draxler, Matic and Dahoud on the list

Juventus are set to look for more players in the January transfer window.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claim, in fact, that the Bianconeri could recruit not one, but two midfielders.

Beyond Franck Kessie’, the Old Lady needs someone else, seeing at the 19-year-old will be representing the Ivory Coast in the upcoming African Cup of Nations, alongside fellow midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah and Mario Lemina.

Thing is, there is heavy competition from England (Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea), and Atalanta don’t want to sell before the summer.

Coach Allegri is looking for a muscular midfielder to replace Paul Pogba, and the likes of Corentin Tolisso, Riechedly Bazoer, Mahmoud Dahoud and Steven N’Zonzi have all been named by the pink paper.

Tuttosport, on the other hand, claim that Axel Witsel’s eventual arrival (potentially in January), could push the Bianconeri to use a either a 4-3-1-2, or the 4-3-2-1, the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-3. Stefan Lichtsteiner is also set to return to Champions League duty, having been excluded from the list this summer. Juventus are linked with Julian Draxler and Leon Goretzka, while Oscar and Nemanja Matic from Chelsea are also linked with a move to Turin.
