Juventus: plan for Cerci. Fiorentina: trying to keep Cuadrado
As reported yesterday, during the last transfer window, both Juventus and AC Milan have failed in signing a new winger: as highlighted by calciomercato.com, the rossoneri have made a serious attempt for Torino 26 year old Alessio Cerci by offering 10 million euros plus the co-ownership of 22 year old attacking midfielder Riccardo Saponara, but the granata president Urbano Cairo has refused such offer, even if he has left the door open to the Lombard club for the next Summer; but, as well known, the Italy international is also tracked by the bianconeri, who are in good terms with their city rivals after the signing of Angelo Ogbonna, and, most of all, can count on the fact that Toro wants to buy the second half of 23 year old striker Ciro Immobile, actually in co-ownership between the two clubs. Moreover, as already anticipated, at the end of the season the Serie A defending champions will sell many of their forwards, and one of them is 30 year old Fabio Quagliarella: as reported by Il Tempo, Lazio Sports Director Igli Tare has confirmed the possibility for the former Udinese player to join the biancocelesti at the end of the season. Juve are also tracking Fiorentina 25 year old Juan Cuadrado, actually in co-ownership between the viola and Udinese, but the Friuli’s club Sports Director Cristiano Giaretta has confirmed that the future of the Colombia international will be negotiate by the two clubs’owners.
