Inter: Vidic will stay. AC Milan: keen on Sneijder

As well known, during the next transfer window, Inter Milan will have to deal with their financial situation, and, most of all, with the risk of some sanctions from UEFA: according to the Corriere dello Sport, the key for the nerazzurri could be selling 28-year-old midfielder Fredy Guarin, while, on the contrary, as reported by Tuttosport, the main candidate to leave “San Siro” is 21-year-old forward Mauro Icardi, tracked by both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid; the Lombard club’s president Erick Thohir could let the Argentina international leave if he would receive a 25-million-euros offer. Another player who could quit Inter is 33-year-old center back Nemanja Vidic, who, as reported by the Daily Star, could rejoin Manchester United: interviewed by calciomercato.com, Silvano Martina, agent of the Serbia international, has denied such option, has blamed the medias for his client’s situation and has assured that he will stay in Milan. Regarding the possible new signings, the nerazzurri seem to have definitively renounced to Cruzeiro 21-year-old midfielder Lucas Silva, while, for what concerns the offensive line, are in competition –as reported by Tuttosport- with city rivals AC Milan in the hunt for AS Roma 23-year-old Mattia Destro. The rossoneri are also tracking Sampdoria 25-year-old Stefano Okaka and Borussia Dortmund 24-year-old Ciro Immobile, but the Lombard club’s honorary president and major shareholder Silvio Berlusconi wants his team to play with an attacking midfielder between two forwards, and the main target remains Galatasaray 30-year-old Wesley Sneijder.
