Juventus-Napoli: Callejon could be the key player in decisive Serie A game
The one we’re talking about is José Maria Callejon. The former Real Madrid man had scored 20 goal in 52 games during his first year at the Stadio San Paolo, but failed to find consistency last term alongside the majority of his teammates.
Callejon is the player who Maurio Sarri plays to balance a very offensive team like Napoli. The Spaniard’s endless runs down the right flank are helping the team’s defensive phase. Callejon, 29, is not only an aggressive runner, he can also be a brilliant finisher in front of goal.
Even if he struggled to find the net of the goal at the beginning of the season, he’s been scoring four goals and registering seven assists since the beginning of the new year.
In the meantime, before trying to hurt the Old Lady’s defense on Saturday, Callejon has celebrated his 29th birthday alongside some of his friends and teammates (included David Lopez and Gonzalo Higuain) as Pepe Reina has posted on Twitter.
