Juventus, Marotta: "Pogba is not on the market. On Morata and Isco with Real Madrid...."

Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta has been speaking to Mediaset Premium.

Ahead of tonight’s Champions League semi-final, he commented on his own sides tournament this season, explaining that; “It’s a competition were certain episodes effect the game more than in Serie A. We believed we could have gone to the final again but we accept the verdict on the field. We are as good as Atletico Madrid. Rummenigge complained about the referee after Bayern were eliminated last night (Tuesday). We were not only eliminated because of the officials but it was a factor
    .
    TRANSFER MARKET
On the subject of potential summer business he declared that; “The idea is to have the right blend between young and old and also have an Italian base to the squad, even if it’s more difficult to find them on the market. The team can always improve but you need to select the right reinforcements. Our competitors are Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG and it’s difficult to imagine them selling their best players”.

    POGBA
On to Paul Pogba and back to Marotta; “Last year Manchester City asked for him but we did not want to sell. I can’t hide the fact that he is the most wanted of our players along with Dybala. The DNA of Juventus is to buy champion players not sell them”. When asked about the potential percentages of any deal to agent Mino Raiola Marotta simply stated that; “Pogba is not on the market so there is no problem there. He is a Juventus player so any business will be decided by the club”.

    MORATA
When the discussion turned to Alvaro Morata, Marotta explained that; “Within the next three-weeks we will sort out his future one way or another because if we lose him we need to replace him with someone of similar calibre. He’s an important player for us and we are prepared to offer a few more tens of millions to remove the right of the buy-back clause for Real Madrid.

    ALLEGRI
On the coach himself, the CEO explained that; “In the next few days we will meet with Allegri, there is a mutual satisfaction with both parties. Money is not a problem, we will find an agreement and continue our relationship and trust. There are still a number of goals to be reached.

    OTHER TRANSFER NEWS
Finally, he was asked about some of his other big stars and their futures. Marotta again; “Nobody has asked us about Bonucci. He is one of the leaders in the dressing room, I think it’s his intention to stay here a long time and even finish his career with the club. Cuadrado is a player who has done really well for us and we will talk to Chelsea to understand what their intentions are. Andre Gomes? He’s not close but he will play with a big club. Bernado Silva? A versatile player who can play several role but we have not made any move”.
