Juventus loanee star Matheus Pereira makes Serie A debut
The Brazilian starlet joined Empoli on a loan deal last summer after that he had signed a long-term contract with Serie A champions Juventus.
Matheus Pereira did not have much time to show his qualities but produced one piece of skill inside Pescara’s danger area that almost led him to score his first Serie A goal.
Empoli won the game for 4-0 with goals came courtesy of Maccarone, Pucciarelli and Saponara who is an old target of Juventus.
Matheus Pereira, 18, is a talented attacking midfielder who was under contract with Corinthians before signing with the Old Lady last summer.
Pereira is not the only Juventus player sent out on loan to Empoli as former Cagliari man Cristian Tello is also on a loan spell at the Castellani where he’s playing his first top flight season in his career.
