Juventus, Liverpool target Paredes ‘not for sale’
Many European clubs are chasing the Argentinean playmaker: from AC Milan to AS Monaco, from Schalke 04 to Juventus, Liverpool and Zenit St. Petersburg, the former Empoli loanee has attracted the interest of many suitors out there as the giallorossi were until today rumoured to be willing to offload the 22-year-old and sign Bologna wantaway star Diawara instead.
AS Roma GM Mauro Baldissoni, however, has denied that the club want to sell Paredes.
“He is under contract with us since two years and a half. We believe in him, he’s a great player. Of course there are many clubs interested but he’s one of those players that is going to stay with us.”
“Paredes is not the only Roma player that has requests, but he’s only 22 and we don’t want to sell him.”
