Juventus: Kessie, Dahoud & Kramer - who will be the heir to Pogba?
Juve’s search for the successor to Paul Pogba continues to be a major transfer talking point. Tuttosport claims that despite reports linking Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi with a move to Turin, its Borussia Monchengladbach pair Mahmoud Dahoud and Christoph Kramer and Atalanta’s Franck Kessie that are in pole-position.
Dahoud is causing interest from all over Europe with Liverpool one of his biggest admirers. 25-year-old Kramer is now an established German international whilst Kessie is having a fantastic season in Serie A with Atalanta.
Since Pogba’s departure in the summer, there has been constant speculation as to who will be his successor. After failed attempts for Witsel and Matuidi, 24-year-old PSG midfielder Marco Verratti has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A at the end of the season. Bianconeri CEO Marotta and transfer supremo Paratici are keeping their options open however, with a host of names still in the frame.
