Juventus, Hernanes refuses to rule out January exit

Juventus midfielder Hernanes netted his first goal this season last Saturday in a home Serie A game against Pescata. The Brazilian playmaker is getting regular game time under Max Allegri this term having already collected 10 appearances in all competitions.

The former Inter and Lazio man, however, is a transfer target of Genoa and the player has not denied that he could leave the J Stadium in January.

Talking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernanes has not ruled out a possible departure in the incoming transfer window.

“I’m only focused on the Sevilla clash now. I’m happy in Italy, it’s an amazing country and I am happy that fans are now happy with what I am doing. Italy is like home to me but you never know what can happen in football.”

Hernanes had been harshly criticized by Juventus fans since his arrival at the club in summer 2015 but after a disappointing first spell at the club, the 31-year-old midfielder is finally delivering convincing performances with the Old Lady.
