Juventus, Del Piero: “Allegri unconvincing”
The Serie A giants failed to snatch a win and get a knock-out stage promotion with two games in hand. Max Allegri’s side are also two points behind group leaders Sevilla now and will have to win their next away game in Spain as well as the last one at home against Dynamo Zagreb to progress to the next stage of the competition as group winners.
“Yesterday’s result is a problem for Juventus because they have to win their group and not finishing second”, Del Piero told the Italian broadcasters.
“The game was insufficient and Juventus were too hesitant. Allegri was clearly not happy, but he was also unconvincing.”
Del Piero played 673 games with Juventus scoring 284 goals. The former Italy striker and Juventus captain won 14 trophies with the Old Lady during his playing career.
