Revealed: The 10 youthful prodigies Juventus are scouting | by Fabrizio Romano
Just who exactly has Fabio Paratici been tailing over the last few months? If you’ve been reading this website frequently, you’ll know that’s a lot of players!
Let’s list the 10 young guns the Bianconeri have been keeping under observation, shall we?
Alban Lafont (1999) - A goalkeeper of great talent, the “French Donnarumma” has half of Europe following his performances in Ligue 1. He’s one of the names the Bianconeri are considering to replace Gianluigi Buffon in the long term, something we’ve dealt with recently.
Ruben Neves (1997) - He’s been a leader since he was a kid, and has long been followed by Fabio Paratici, for at least three years. Thing is, he’s an idol at the Dragao Stadium, and Porto have a €40m release clause on him.
Riccardo Orsolini (1997) - Riccardo Orsolini is having a heck of a time in Serie B, the natural goalscorer born in 1997 having also attracted interest from Roma and Genoa. He’s scored three goals in the last three weeks.
Alexander Isak (1999) - The “New Ibrahimovic”, Isak has long been targeted by the Bianconeri. Liverpool and PSG are also interested, but his agent has already been contacted by Juventus.
Breel Donald Embolo (1997) - Though the Swiss international got some game time this summer at Euro 2016, Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici had long fascinated by the youngster, but were beaten to the punch by Schalke 04. Thing is, he’s broken his ankle, and the surgery could see him miss the rest of the 2016-2017 season.
Gabriel Boschilia (1996) - Though he’s had his ups and downs, the young Monaco talent has been on Juve’s radar since he was at Sao Paolo. He’s got plenty of talent, and being scouted on a week-by-week basis. Despite scoring two goals this season, the Bianconeri are waiting for him to bloom and achieve consistency.
Lincoln (1998) - A playmaker and winger, the Gremio star is considered to be a very rough diamond, one that Juventus want to avoid making a Gerson-like mistake with. Manchester United are also very interested in him (link above).
Franck Kessié (1996) - There’s no need to introduce this guy, is there? What if the latest story from Alfredo Pedulla was true, and that the Ivorian (who has already netted four times in Serie A action this season) has eyes only for the Bianconeri?
Dusan Vlahovic (2000) - Fabrizio Romano The youngest of the Top 10, the Partizan youngster measure 1.9 metres, and has been scouted on numerous occasions for his great quality. @FabrizioRomano, adapted by @EdoDalmonte
