Juventus consider January bid for unhappy Man City star Yaya Toure
The Ivorian midfielder made return to Manchester City starting XI last week scoring twice in the Citizens’ 2-1 win to Crystal Palace, but with just 270 minutes played in all competitions so far this season, the 33-year-old will be looking for a new club in the January transfer window.
Yaya’s Man City contract expires in June 2017 and given Pep Guardiola’s bad relation with the player’s agent Dimitri Seluk, the 33-year-old midfielder is not likely to sign a contract extension with the Etihad outfit and is destined to leave the club at the end of the season.
That’s why Juventus want to offer the former Barça star an escape route six months before the natural expiration of his contract with the Premier League giants.
Not being included in Manchester City’s Champions League squad, Yaya can play Europe’s elite competition with the Old Lady from February with Axel Witsel who would arrive as a free agent at the end of the season.
