Juventus, Chelsea, Barcelona: Which future for Juan Cuadrado?

Juan Cuadrado’s performance against Inter in Coppa Italia last Thursday was one pretty much similar to what the Colombian winger had shown at the beginning of the season, before being outperformed by the likes of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Patrice Evra and Alex Sandro of late.

Before the Inter game, Juventus’ CEO Giuseppe Marotta revealed that the club want to make Cuadrado’s move permanent, as the player has joined the Stadium from Chelsea on loan until the end of the season.

The two clubs have a verbal (not official) agreement to make Cuadrado’s stay in Turin permanent for a free in the region of € 20 million, despite the Old Lady wants to lower the player’s price tag.

As Don Balòn reports, by the way, Cuadrado’s future could be far from Italy.
If rumors from Spain are  to be believed, the player’s agent has offered his client to Barcelona. The Catalans had already tried to sign the former Fiorentina start during his time at the Franchi, failing to find economic agreement with the club owned by the Della Valle family.

It’s worth adding that the last word on the player’s future at Stamford Bridge has to be spoken yet as if Antonio Conte, a long-time admirer of the Colombian winger, will really become the next Chelsea manager, he will probably ask Cuadrado to remain in at the Bridge.
