Juventus boss Allegri calls for fans support

Massimiliano Allegri has called for Juventus’ fans support during an interview released with Tuttosport. The Old Lady is being criticized for her poor playing style, but Max Allegri has insisted that Juventus fans should enjoy the team’s wins as the bianconeri top the Serie A table with a four-point lead over AS Roma.

“Enthusiasm must follow us everywhere this season. Fans should be willing to celebrate a possible target like the 6th successive scudetto. It doesn’t happen so frequently as it was not easy to win 25 games out of 26 last season.”

“Can you imagine? I couldn’t realize it until the end of last season. Fans should not take anything for granted and should always celebrate. We can become legends all together like Michael Jordan’s Chicago Red Bulls.”

“Juventus are not and never will be like Barcelona or Bayern Munich. We have different qualities: we are ahead in terms of tactical preparation for example and respectfully talking Italian clubs are smarter than the others.”

“Heranes is being criticized even if he’s playing well. People expect him to do things that do not belong to him. The same goes for Evra, we can’t expect him to run up and down the flank like Alex Sandro, Evra is a different kind of player.”

In the end, Allegri has gone on the behind the scenes of Gonzalo Higuain’s Juventus move.

“I met the club at the end of the season and we decided that Higuain was the player we should have signed at all costs. He guarantees many goals and is a top-class striker. Juventus are so goo when it comes to planning for the future.”
