Inter: mission for Jovetic. AC Milan: Abate will stay
Inter Milan keep on seeking a new forward, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Manchester City 25-year-old Stevan Jovetic, who has already expressed his agreement to a transfer to “San Siro”; as revealed by calciomercato.com’s transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the nerazzurri’s Director of Football Piero Ausilio was yesterday in Barcelona to meet the English club’s Technical Director Txiki Begiristain; the Citizens could let the Montenegro international leave for about 20 million euros if this latter will ask to be sold, and the former Fiorentina player wants to find out if his current team’s manager Manuel Pellegrini –with whom he is in bad terms- will stay or not. Still regarding its team’s offensive line, the Lombard club is also tracking some young talents, and the new name is the one of Rosario Central 20-year-old Franco Cervi. Another priority for Inter is the signing of a new right back, considering the imminent departures of Jonathan Cicero Moreira and Hugo Armando Campagnaro, and their main options remain Torino 25-year-old Mattia Darmian and 24-year-old Bruno Peres. Udinese 22-year-old Silvan Widmer, Sassuolo 23-year-old Sime Vrsaljko, Bayer Leverkusen 25-year-old Giulio Donati and Guanzhou Evergrande same-aged Zhang Linpeng, while the new name for the left flank is the one of Lorient 21-year-old Raphael Guerreiro. Also city rivals AC Milan are working to reinforce their team’s flank, and, according to the Corriere della Sera, after a meeting between his agent Mino Raiola and his club’s executives, 28-year-old Ignazio Abate seems intended to renew his deal with the rossoneri and remain at “San Siro”.
