Juve: Valencia return to the idea of Hernanes

Two midfielders; that’s what Juventus coach Massimo Allegri wants before the transfer window closes on August 31. After Saturday’s friendly win against Espanyol, the 49-year-old tactician explained that he needed two players to add to the quality of Miralem Pjanic. Matuidi, Witsel, Brozovic and Diawara are the hot names at the moment but to make room Juventus has to off-load Hernanes, the Brazilian play-maker who has disappointed after only one season in Turin.

    VALENCIA REKINDLE THEIR INTEREST
The player known as the "Prophet”, has had recent proposals from China but the 31-year-old has stated his desire to stay in Europe. In the past few hours, Spanish giants Valencia have rekindled their interest in the player after departures of Danilo, Andre Gomes and Javi Fuego and the former Lazio and Inter man is now believed to be top of their list of targets.

    THE PRICE
Juventus are ready to sell but they don’t want to be left out of pocket. Hernanes arrived 12 months ago for €13 million and is under contract until 2018. It remains to be seen if this new contact will spell the end of the “Prophet’s” time in Turin and a chance to re-launch his career in Spain.
