Juve: their interest in Tolisso confirmed
Juventus and their search for a midfielder continues; an array of candidates have come to the fore, including Witsel (Zenit), Matuidi (PSG), Fabregas (Chelsea) and even De Rossi (Roma). According to France Football however, the player that is now moving to the top of the wanted list is 22-year-old Lyon man Corentin Tolisso.
The player who was born in Tarare has the versatility that Juve coach Massimo Allegri craves; adept at playing both as a midfielder or a wing-back, Tolisso’s credentials make excellent reading and at just 22years of age, he fits perfectly into the strategy of CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Fabio Paratici.
A product of the famed Lyon youth system, Tolisso made his first-team debut at just 18 and has gone on to make 94 appearances for the club so far. Bianconeri chiefs have managed to get a first-hand look at the youngster during their two Champions League group games against the Ligue 1 outfit.
