Juve target Joao Moutinho, Zaza linked with EPL move
Reports from Italy suggest that Juve set sights on AS Monaco’s playmaker Joao Moutinho who wants to leave his current club.
The former Porto ace’s contract is set to expire in June 2018, but he’d prefer to put an end to his experience at the Stade Luis II earlier as he wants to join a team where he can battle it out for important trophies such as a domestic title or the Champions League.
Ever Banega and Ilkay Gundogan are two more hot names on Giuseppe Marotta’s agenda, but the Germany International’s price tag could be too expensive for the Bianconeri’s finances in January, while the Argentinean could join the Stadium in June as a free agent. That’s why the 29-year-old could be a realistic option in January.
As far as Simone Zaza’s future is concerned, the 24-year-old is wanted by Premier Leauge sides Watford and Stoke City, while the player’s agent has recently ruled out his return to Sassuolo.
Zaza is Allegri’s fourth option up front, but despite his lack of playing time, the former Sassuolo star managed to score three goals in nine seasonal games (one every 105 minutes) and would prefer to find a team where he can play on a regular basis in order to snatch a senior Italy national team call-up for EURO 2016.
