Juve signed Ziegler. Interested in Inler and Lichtsteiner
After Pirlo, Juventus acquired Reto Ziegler. The Swiss international arrives for free from Sampdoria and will reinforce one of the weakest points, the side defenders.
Marotta must now think of the right side. Beck and Cassani are good alternatives but the main target is Stephan Lichtsteiner. He's 2 years older than Ziegler, and his acquisition requires an investment. It is not easy to negotiate with Lazio's president, Claudio Lotito, but he could give his go-ahead in case a substitute (like Sokratis Papastathopoulos) is found.
Juventus are also interested in Gokhan Inler, but Napoli have been negotiating for him with Udinese since last January. The two clubs have already reached an agreement, but the player has not decided yet. Perhaps he's waiting for a call from Juve?
