Juve-Roma for Suarez. Inter chase Veloso. Lo Monaco leaves Catania?
Luis Suarez is in pole position to replace Alessandro Del Piero at Juventus next summer. The Bianconeri are also following Carlos Tevez & Gonzalo Higuain, but the Uruguayan has more chances to move to Turin.
Suarez has also been approached by Roma though. The Giallorosso contacted Liverpool and would be available for a €25M transfer fee.
In the meantime, Marco Borriello will leave Turin in the summer to return to the Olimpico. The Bianconeri have given the player more than one chance but he has always failed to impress them.
Juventus are also looking at Mattia Destro and Manolo Gabbiadini in order to strengthen their attacking package while Fabio Quagliarella renewed his contract until June 2015.
- Inter chase Veloso
Miguel Veloso may be the cause of Genoa’s problems as claimed by President Enrico Preziosi, but Inter are still willing to invest on the Portuguese playmaker.
According to A Bola, the Nerazzurri have approached the Rossoblu about the former Sporting Lisbon player who has a contract until June 2015. Veloso could be available for €10M.
- Lo Monaco to Torino?
Catania director Pietro Lo Monaco could leave Sicily in the summer. The man responsible for building Vincenzo Montella’s fantastic side has been linked to Inter.
However, Torino have now stepped in and according to Mediaset Premium, the Granata have good chances to sign him.
Lo Monaco is one of the most experienced directors in Serie A with strong connections in South America where he has been collaborating with agent Jorge Cyterszpiler.
