Juve: back for Higuain. Inter: good-bye Handanovic

After obtaining their fourth Italian title on a row, and awaiting for the Champions League’s clash against Real Madrid, Juventus are already working to reinforce their team for the next season, and, as well known, are seeking a new forward: regarding such position, the bianconeri -as outlined by La Gazzetta Sportiva- are also thinking about 27-year-old Gonzalo Higuain, who –as previously reported by calciomercato.com- doesn’t seem convinced to remain at Napoli; on the contrary, in the hunt for Paris Saint-Germain 28 year-old Edinson Cavani, the Serie A champions –according to the Sun- will also have to compete with Manchester City. The Piedmont’s club is in the mid time dealing with the situation of its midfielder Paul Pogba, who is tracked by many European top clubs: as reported by El Mundo Deportivo, Augustì Benedito, one of the candidates to Barcelona’s presidency, has already contacted Juve’s chairman Andrea Agnelli regarding the France international; on the other hand, the bianconeri’s General Manager Giuseppe Marotta has told Rai Sport that the 21-year-old –at least for the moment- is not for sale.
As well known, Inter Milan 30-year-old goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has not yet extended his deal with the nerazzurri, and could leave “San Siro” at the end of the current season: interviewed by Sky Sport, the Slovenia international has revealed that his agent has talked with the Lombardian club’s executives, but that there have been no progresses in the negotiation.
