Juve: back for Vlaar. Inter: Icardi towards Chelsea
As well known, one of Juventus’ priorities for the next transfer window is the signing of a new defender, considering the injuries suffered by 33-year-old Andrea Barzagli and 27-year-old Martin Caceres: as reported by Sportmediaset, the bianconeri are also thinking about 29-year-old Ron Vlaar, whose contract with Aston Villa will expire at the end of the current season; last Summer, the Holland international has been a target for Napoli and for the Serie A defending champions themselves. Another option, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is Sao Paulo 24-year-old Rafael Tolói, while, as reported by the same media, the Piedmont’s club still hopes to obtain 23-year-old Stefan Savic by offering 27-year-old attacking midfielder Sebastian Giovinco to Fiorentina; for the replacement of the Italy international, Juve are thinking about Sassuolo 23-year-old Simone Zaza and 20-year-old Domenico Berardi. The bianconeri are also tracking some young talents and, according to gazzetta.it, are ready to compete with Inter Milan in the hunt for Anderlecht 17-year-old midfielder Youri Tielemans. The nerazzurri could perhaps have a chance for Chelsea 22-year-old winger Mohamed Salah, who, according to the Daily Star, wants to work with Roberto Mancini; on the contrary, the Lombard team’s midfielder Mateo Kovacic is attracted –as reported by the Daily Express- by the Blues.
