Alex Del Piero and Juventus are working towards a contract renewal on the conditions set by the club, but an heir will arrive.

In yesterdays meeting between bianconero director Beppe Marotta and Stefano Del Piero, the brother- agent of Alex, the two parties put down the base for a renewal: "Both sides have the desire to renew the contract". Del Piero (36) will be a bianconero for life and accepts that the mobile part of his salary (linked to performance and results) will be more than the fixed part. The offer from Juventus is a million plus bonus: at the next meeting there could be a yes.

Meanwhile the club continues to look for a good quality reinforcement for the future. Parlermo's star Javier Pastore, 21, winks to the Bianconeri: "I am looking for a team that will let me play. Barcelona and Real Madrid would be good for my pocket, but I would unlikely find much space. My family has origins in Piedmont. I'd like Juventus to beat Inter".
