    REPORT: Juve back for Everton star Romelu Lukaku

    It is now well known that Juventus tried to sign 22-year-old striker Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window, but never got anywhere, trailing behind Premier League rivals Manchester United. Now things could change, as the Everton player's new agent is Mino Raiola, who is on good terms with the Piedmont’s club executive board.

    Of course, the Belgium international has an extremely high price tag; he joined from Chelsea for a €36 million transfer fee, and Toffees manager Roberto Martinez recently stated that “after the last game, he’s worth at least €55 million. We don’t need to sell our players to keep our balance sheet in order”.

    Juve will try in any case to sign the youngster, as they aren't all that impressed by newly-arrived striker Mario Mandzukic, and, according to Tuttosport, Bianconeri executives will soon meet their Everton counterparts.

    Beyond the obvious prestige of joining Italy's most decorated club, the Belgian international has repeatedly expressed a desire to play in the Champions League. Juventus can definitely offer him that, at least for this year...
