It was a long day today in Vinovo, the Juventus training ground: an early start in the morning, video analysis of errors after the defeat at Lecce and a double training session, and also a visit by president, Andrea Agnelli. The Juventus number one came to the sports centre at lunch time, accompanied by managing director, Beppe Marotta, Pavel Nedved and the coordinator of the technical side, Fabio Paratice. Agnelli spoke to the team. The meeting, held in the dressing room, lasted forty minutes, the time required for Agnelli to reiterate the concepts, which were already clearly expressed yesterday in Viareggio.

Performances like the one on Sunday are no longer tolerated,  an immediate turnaround is needed starting from Saturday in Bologna. Everybody must do their utmost in the last twelve matches to reach the fourth place, a difficult task but not impossible. The president also expressed his trust in Del Neri. The coach, who also is not immune from blame as is normal in such situations, is thus strengthend in his position but at the same time he must motivate the team. It is now down to the players: they have to cancel Lecce and give a strong signal.
