Jovetic is ‘fit to face Juve’

Stevan Jovetic has bring forward his return in Milan after that Montenegro failed to qualify to EURO 2016, following a home defeat at the hands of Austria.

The Inter star didn’t featured in his National team’s game as he was recovering from a muscle injury that forced him out in the last two Serie A features. For this reason, he has also been given a permission to go back to trainings with Inter before Montenegro’s match against Russia.

Once in Milan, the former Manchester City player spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about his shape.

“I am ok and I will play against Juventus”, the Montenegrin said.

“Their [Juventus] table position is misleading. They are a massive team, with top-class players. It seems that they are taking the right path now, so we need to be very careful on Sunday as it won’t be easy at all.”

As we mentioned above, the 25 year old missed the last couple of Serie A games which are the only that Inter failed to win thus far.

“I think that’s just a coincidence. We are a team and none is more important than another. It is just something that happens in football and now we need to recover as soon as possible.”

These updates would sound music to Roberto Mancini’s ears. The 50 year old manager complained for the Jovetic call-up with Montenegro, but now that his seasonal top-scorer is back and fit, he can finally set the target on the Derby d’Italia
