Joao Mario reveals Inter’s main problem in the first set of Serie A games
Joao Mario has just recovered from an injury and played 27 minutes against Andorra in the world cup qualifiers.
“It’s a positive signal, means that I am fit and I am getting in a good shape. I’ll be ready for the next Serie A game with Inter.”
“I think our main problem in the first set of games of the season is being the squad the concedes the first goal in a game. It is difficult to reach a Champions League spot if we always start the game from losing position. We have to be more focused since the very beginning of the game. Then it’s normal to go through hard time like we are doing now.”
“I think we can still battle it out for the scudetto. Juventus are very strong, they’ve won the title in the last five campaigns and they had a better start to the season than us. Our main target, however, is to qualify to Champions League.”
“I am happy to have joined Inter. It’s a challenging choice that will help me growing professionally. Each time I play a game in Serie A I have a special feeling. I like to play in the middle of the pitch and I can play with Banega, no problems at all, he’s a great player with stunning technical skills.”
