It’s been a difficult to life in charge of the Italian national team for Giampiero Ventura. After the defeat last night in his opening match against France, he has lost the services of Leonardo Bonucci, who had to return home to attend to his sick child and Daniele De Rossi, who has now been confirmed as unavailable for the trip to Israel on Monday.
 

The combative Roma midfielder underwent some tests this morning after a nasty looking tackle on him by Sidibe and x-rays have shown that he has damage to his left calf which will keep him out of his sides opening World Cup qualifier. The 33-year-old has already left the camp and has headed back to Rome for more tests.
