Italian striker set for Napoli medical

Napoli have finalized the deal to sign Leonardo Pavoletti from Genoa in the winter transfer window. The Italian striker will replace Arkadiusz Milik until the Poland striker returns from his knee injury. According to rumours coming from Naples, the Italy frontman will undergo medical with the Serie A giants on the 28th of December and will move to the club once the incoming transfer window formally opens.

Pavoletti is one of Serie A’s most prolific strikers over the last two seasons, but is being struggling with injuries this term and Napoli want to know hi real physical conditions before taking him to the San Paolo.

Santon’s move from Inter to Napoli collapsed last summer after that the Italian defender failed medicals.

In case Napoli won’t notice any problem with Pavoletti’s form, they will register his signing on the 3rd of January. The partenopei are set to pay € 18 million to Genoa and give a salary of € 2 million-a-year to the 28-year-old striker.
