Inter: Handanovic won't renew. AC Milan: update on Okaka
As well known, during the last transfer window Inter Milan have been seeking a new center back, and one of them was Atalanta 27-year-old Yohan Benalouane: interviewed by TMW, Daniel Striani, agent of the Tunisia international, has confirmed the negotiation with the Beneamata, but finally an agreement has not been found, as Erick Thohir’s club wanted to obtain the player on loan, while the orobici would have accepted only a transfer on permanent basis. Meanwhile, as anticipated last night, the nerazzurri are dealing with the situation of their forward Mauro Icardi: the Lombard team’s fans’ associations have officially specified their disappointment for the Argentine player’s attitude, but have explained that it can’t be in any case compared to the one of Mario Balotelli. The 21-year-old has in any case been sanctioned by the club, and could make the same decision for 28-year-old midfielder Fredy Guarin, who has also had a fight after the match against Sassuolo. Inter are also thinking about the situation of their goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, whose contract will expire next year, but, interviewed by Tuttosport, Federico Pastorello, agent of the Slovenia international, has declared that for the moment there have been just some interlocutory meetings and that there is no hurry about his country’s new contract. City rivals have been seeking a striker, and, interviewed by the same media, Andrea Cattoli, agent of Sampdoria 25-year-old Stefano Okaka, has confirmed that the rossoneri were after his client, even though there has not been the condition for a transfer.
