Inter: update on Icardi. AC Milan: seeking a midfielder
Inter Milan keep on seeking a midfielder, and –as reported by gianlucadimarzio.com- in addition to Manchester City 31-year-old Yaya Touré, are thinking about some other footballers currently playing in England, Liverpool 28-year-old Lucas Pezzini Leiva and West Ham 27-year-old Alexandre Song (on loan from Barcelona); on the contrary –according to the London Evening Standard- Arsenal are ready to swoop on 29-year-old James Milner, whose contract with Manchester City will expire at the end of the current season. The nerazzurri still hope to keep their goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, but –as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport- the Slovenia international is not intentioned to renew his deal with the Lombard club –currently expiring in June 2016-, so Inter are already seeking an alternative to the former Udinese player, and are thinking about Chelsea 32-year-old Petr Cech, Sampdoria 28-year-old Sergio Romero, Atalanta 22-year-old Sergio Sportiello and Genoa same-aged Mattia Perin; meanwhile, as reported by gianlucadimarzio.com, 21-year-old forward Mauro Icardi could finally extend his deal with the nerazzurri, even if the two parties are still in talks regarding the player’s release clause. Also city rivals AC Milan keep on seeking a midfielder, even because –according to Tuttosport- 30-year-old Nigel de Jong seems intended to leave, as well as same-aged Sulley Muntari: the rossoneri keep on tracking Empoli 28-year-old Mirko Valdifiori, who is also a target for Napoli, and if the Italy international will join the azzurri, the Lombard club could swoop on their 23-year-old Jorginho.
