Inter, Strootman is the right man

Inter, Strootman is the right man

Kevin Strootman is Inter’s new market target. Or maybe it is better to speak of a revival, because the midfielder born in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands, had already been viewed by the Inter scouts last season, when he wore the Utrecht shirt. In the summer, the PSV was quicker than everyone, bringing the player to Eindhoven together with Mertens, for a figure close to 12 million euro, but could lose him in January, despite the denials of his agent.
Inter are serious and in the coming weeks could have contact with the Dutch club, that if good offer is ready would give up its gem. Born in 1990 Strootman is a central midfielder of great quality. The coach of the Dutch national team Bert van Marwijk is a great admirer and has more than once emphasized his qualities as an assists man, and his great vision.

Valencia and Real Madrid are also interested, but Inter Milan has passed from words to deeds. His national team-mate Sneijder, in an interview with Die Telegraaf has confirmed Inter’s strong interest: "Marco Branca has asked for my opinion on Kevin. It is not the first time that the club asks me an opinion on the players to buy. I said that he is a player with great qualities".
