Inter still interested in Pirlo as Man City deny January move
The 36-year-old was reported to be edging a loan move at the Etihad Stadium after having completed his first spell at New York City FC.
The Maestro was supposed to take the same path of Frank Lampard last season. The Chelsea legendary player left Stamford Bridge to join New York City FC, but he was loaned to Manchester City before he could make his MLS debut.
On the contrary, Pirlo has already played 13 games in MLS and since his side have failed to access the knock-out stage, rumors suggested that the 36-year-old could have joined a European club until the start of the news MLS season.
Pirlo has been also reported to be on Inter’s target for the next January transfer window. The Serie A club have not denied an interest for the Italy International, who has already played with the Nerazzurri from 1998 to 2001.
