Inter: still keen on Nastasic. AC Milan: update on Destro
Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri won’t probably be Inter Milan’s only signings during the current transfer window: as reported by calciomercato.com, in fact, the nerazzurri are also working to reinforce their team’s defense, and their main target for such position remains Manchester City 21-year-old Matija Nastasic: the former Fiorentina player -who has two-and-a-half more years on his contract with the Citizens and is evaluated about 15 million euros- seems intended to join Schalke 04, who are in advanced talks with the Premier League defending champions, but the Serbia international is attracted by the idea of joining his former manager Roberto Mancini. The Lombard club is also seeking a midfielder, and keeps on negotiating for Liverpool 27-year-old Lucas Leiva: this latter also holds an Italian passport, and this could ease his transfer to “San Siro”. Moreover, Inter would like to reinforce their team’s flank, and seem to be still interested in Torino 25-year-old Matteo Darmian: to obtain this latter, the nerazzurri are ready to offer to the Piedmont’s club 24-year-old Yann M’Vila, currently on loan with right to buy from Rubin Kazan. City rivals AC Milan keep on seeking a center forward, and, as reported in the last days, are keen on AS Roma 23-year-old Mattia Destro: a swap involving 30-year-old Giampaolo Pazzini doesn’t seem to be a credible option, so the rossoneri are trying to obtain the Italy international on loan with right to buy.
