Inter: keen on Lavezzi. AC Milan: de Jong could stay
As reported in the last days, Paris Saint-Germain 29-year-old forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has declared that if he would move back to Italy, Napoli would be his first option; in any case, as outlined by calciomercato.com, Inter Milan still hope to sign the Argentina international: the nerazzurri have already made an attempt during the last transfer window by offering one between 29-year-old Hernanes and 28-year-old Fredy Guarin, but finally something didn’t work; the situation could be much easier next Summer, considering the fact that the player’s contract will expire in June 2016 and that Lavezzi himself is ready to reduce his salary. The Lombard club also wants to reinforce its team’s midfield, and, as well known, one of their main targets for such position is Manchester City 31-year-old Yaya Touré: according to the bookmakers, Inter are the most probable destination for the Ivory Coast international. In any case, to be competitive, the nerazzurri will also have to reinforce their defense, and the only signing of Granada 22-year-old Jeison Murillo doesn’t seem to be sufficient. As well known, AC Milan are seeking the heir of their midfielder Nigel de Jong, whose contract will expire at the end of the current season and who is a target for Juventus, Manchester United and his former club Ajax: according to De Telegraaf, the Dutchman would prefer to stay.
