Inter: Guarin to renew. AC Milan: swap with Tottenham

Meanwhile, after being intended to join Juventus during the last transfer window, 27 year old midfielder Fredy Guarin is ready to extend his deal with the Lombard club until June 2017: according to Sky Sport, the decisive meeting between Marcelo Ferreyra, agent of the Colombia international, and Inter’s executives is expected for the next week. Moreover, as highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the nerazzurri’s president Erick Thohir will meet the team’s captain Javier Zanetti to evaluate the possibility for the Argentine to become a Lombard club’s executive. Today, AC Milan 21 year old forward Stephan El Shaarawy will undergo a medical check to evaluate the possibility to get back on the pitch; the Italy international is considered a Borussia Dortmund target, but, according to the English medias, could finally join Tottenham as part of a swap involving same-aged Erik Lamela.
